What to Expect
Your wedding day is unique and we would be happy to be at your side as a photographer. From the preparations to the wedding ceremony to the exuberant celebration – we capture every special moment. We always include a pre-shoot so that we can get to know each other and you can use the pictures for your invitation cards, for example. We would be happy to advise you personally or on the phone.
Process
Everything starts with getting to know each other personally – either in our studio or on the phone. We discuss your schedule, style and your wishes. Before the wedding there is a pre-wedding shoot (incl. from the Plus package), where we get used to it and you can use the photos for invitation cards, for example. On the wedding day itself, we accompany you discreetly and capture the real emotions - from getting ready to the last dance. A wedding day can roughly be divided into six stages: getting ready, when you calmly prepare and the anticipation builds; the ceremony itself with its unrepeatable moments; the congratulations right afterwards, when family and friends embrace you; the couple shoot, usually away from the crowd; the celebration with its programme; and finally the first dance. How much of that we capture with you depends on the package: the "Small but Fine" package (2 hours) is the compact option for small weddings or civil ceremonies. The Plus package (4 hours) covers the ceremony, the couple shoot and the first highlights of the celebration. The Premium package (6 hours) accompanies you from getting ready to cutting the cake. And if you want the whole day captured – from morning to the first dance in the evening, with a second photographer – book the Full Day package.

When should I book my wedding photographer?
We recommend booking at least 6-12 months before the wedding. Popular summer Saturdays are often booked well in advance.
How much does a wedding photographer at picjoy cost?
Our wedding packages start from €500 (small but nice, approx. 2 hours). The Plus package is available from €1,100 and the Premium package from €1,700 for all-day accompaniment.
Is a pre-wedding shoot included?
From the Plus package onwards, a pre-wedding shoot of approx. 2 hours is included. We get to know each other and you get photos that you can use for invitation cards, for example.
How many edited images do I get?
That depends on the package. With the small but nice package you get around 100 edited images, with the Plus package around 300 and with the Premium package around 500+ images.
Is a second photographer included in the Full Day package?
Yes, a second photographer is included in the Full Day package (from €2,490).
Is a wedding photo book included in the price?
From the Plus package (€1,190) onwards, one wedding photo book is included. With the Premium package and the Full Day package, you even get two photo books.
Is a personal consultation included in the price?
Yes. With "Small but Fine" you get a personal consultation before the wedding, and from the Plus package onwards you can choose a consultation in the studio or by phone.
Can the Full Day package be tailored to us?
Yes, the Full Day package is an individual package tailored to your wishes.
How quickly do we get our images?
With the "Small but Fine" package, image delivery is especially fast. For the other packages, we agree on the exact delivery date with you personally.
What's the difference between the Plus and the Premium package?
Four hours of coverage and one photo book with the Plus package compared to six hours and two photo books with the Premium package – the Premium package covers everything from getting ready to cutting the cake.
How do we decide which package fits our wedding?
It depends on your day: "Small but Fine" (2 hours) suits compact celebrations or civil ceremonies, the Plus package (4 hours) covers the ceremony, the couple shoot and the first highlights, the Premium package (6 hours) covers everything up to cutting the cake, and the Full Day package is designed for the entire day from morning to evening.
Do we get all our photos or just a selection?
With every package, you get all the digital wedding images from the day – not just a small selection. Depending on the package, you also get between 10 and 50+ printed photos.
Are our images already edited when we receive them?
Yes, all wedding images are professionally edited before they reach you.
How long does each of the four packages last?
"Small but Fine" lasts 2 hours, the Plus package 4 hours, and the Premium package 6 hours. The Full Day package accompanies you the whole day, from morning to evening.
