What to Expect
We will literally make you appear in the best light on your passport photo. You will receive six printouts in 3.5 x 4.5 cm, biometric according to official specifications. Alternatively, we also offer the new e-passport photo process - your photo is sent digitally directly to the authorities. If desired, also as a file by email for a service fee of €2.99. We also offer passport photos for other formats, e.g. for a US visa (additional charge €3.99).
Process
Just come to our studio for your appointment. We ensure the right lighting, pay attention to the biometric requirements and take several photos so that you are satisfied. With the classic passport photo, you get your printouts immediately. With the e-passport photo process, you receive a QR code that you present to the authorities - ready in under 10 minutes.

How much does a passport photo cost at picjoy?+
6 biometric passport photos cost €17.99. The new e-passport photo (digital transmission) also costs €17.99. If requested, we can also send the file by email for a €2.99 service fee.
Do I need an appointment for passport photos?+
No, you do not need an appointment to take passport photos. Just come by during our opening hours. If you want to be on the safe side, you can book an appointment online.
What is the e-passport photo and do I need it?+
The e-passport photo is a new digital process in which your photo is sent to the authorities in encrypted form. From May 2025 it will be mandatory for passports. We will give you a QR code that you can present to the Citizens' Office.
How long does a passport photo appointment take?+
Only about 10 minutes. We take several photos and you take your finished passport photos with you immediately.
